Oh Jerusalem is a painting that subtly deconstructs the narrative of the Young Single Mother as a disempowered social entity.The protagonists ‘Young Single Mothers’ deviation from the societal script of Marriage ,Reproduction,Motherhood positions her as a target of thinly veiled as criticisms and ad hominem attacks.The subject of this painting explores a narrative of moral subjectivity and the power of the peripheral position in it ability to speak its agency and question the ideaogue of normativity in a word of challenge and change.
